Kelly Mooney Photography
I was introduced to Kelly Mooney of Kelly Mooney Photography in 2017, a trusted A-Team member and close friend. To say we hit it off would be an understatement. With a background in PR and marketing Kelly Mooney has become an established and sought after photographer based in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
Initially, we bonded as I started my career as an image consultant and soon became Kelly’s go-to wardrobe stylist and set stylist for her photo shoots. From senior portraits to brand photography to product photography, I’m always just a call away for her. We’ve done virtual styling to full VIP personal shopping sessions for her clientele.
As the years have gone by and we have evolved, we’ve worked together on everything from photoshoots, image consulting, wardrobe styling, modeling, branding and more.
Personally, I like to consider myself her Creative Director on speed dial. We are each other’s go-to for power-partner projects.
In 2017 when Kelly and I first worked together we did a 3 hour brand intensive to discover her brand persona and streamline her business. At the time she was focused on high school senior photography and brand photography. She would treat each as if it were its own brand and business. Personifying her business helped her to realize they were more like complimenting than she thought and ran like conjoined twins if you will. This was a huge breakthrough for Kelly that elevated her business for the next few years.
Two years later, when Kelly started feeling the growing pains of her business again, she called me up to take a pulse-check of her business and brand. Her business had evolved and matured into a new level of being. We again personified her business and found it exuding the famous Annie Leibovitz. With this clarity and a little of my “Freak-Factor” intuition, as Kelly likes to call it, we created an iconic brand concept, strategy, and differentiating YOU-niqueness.
Grounded in white and grey tones, the brand was pounded silver and lenin in texture with details of blue-green sea glass. Sand dollars that had been a family collectors item also revealed itself into the branding.
With this and a little creative direction, she’s also fallen in love with Cosmital Designs creating her website. As a photographer she is constantly adding new images to her site and knowing that she can showcase her work in one place and on one site is a breath of fresh air for her.
PROJECT OUTCOME & IMPACT
A current work in progress, Kelly’s understanding of her brand persona is what helps her evolve without the growing pains anymore and know what to do, when to do it and how to do it in her own iconic and detailed way.

⭐ showed her the lifestyle of the brand so she could be more conscious, intentional, and symbolic in the day to day details.
